Timoons
THE TIMOONS COLORING NOTEBOOK

Print a page.
Start an adventure.

A printable PDF gives you a clean starting point for coloring at home or in the classroom. Here’s how to get a comfortable fit on the paper you already have.

1. Open the PDF, rather than printing the website

Choose one of our free coloring pages and use its Download free PDF button. Open the downloaded file in your browser’s PDF viewer or a PDF app. Printing the web page itself may include menus and text you don’t want.

2. Match the paper size

Timoons sample PDFs are US Letter size: 8.5 × 11 inches. If your printer has Letter paper, select Letter in the print dialog. If you use A4, select A4 and choose “fit to page” or “fit to printable area.” The names of these options vary by printer.

3. Pick a scale that keeps the drawing on the sheet

On Letter paper, start with actual size or 100%. Check the preview: the entire drawing should sit inside the printable area. If your printer clips any part, use “fit” instead. There is no need for borderless printing.

4. Start with one test page

Choose black-and-white or grayscale printing and standard quality. Print a single copy before printing for a whole class. If the lines look pale, check the ink or toner level and switch off draft mode.

5. Match your coloring supplies to the paper

Ordinary printer paper is a simple option for crayons and colored pencils. For wetter supplies, check which paper weights your printer supports before loading a heavier sheet. Markers can show through: put a protective sheet underneath and test a small area first.

Printing for a classroom

You may print our three free samples for your class. Set the copy count only after checking your test sheet, and keep the PDFs single-sided if each child will color one page. Please share the original page link with other teachers instead of uploading the PDFs elsewhere.
