1. Turn a colored page into gift wrap
Start with the dinosaur bike ride or moon garden. Invite your child to choose a holiday palette, or simply use their favorite colors. Once finished, wrap a small flat gift or use the drawing as a colorful panel on plain paper wrapping.
You’ll need: one printed page, crayons or colored pencils, a small gift, and tape. An adult can help with cutting and wrapping. Ask your child to write a short message on the back before the wrapping is folded.
2. Make a picture for the Christmas table
Color the cloud cafe together, then place the finished picture on a separate side table or a dry spot at the children’s place setting. Add a handwritten name on a separate folded piece of paper for a simple place card.
Make it a story game: ask each child which character they would invite to a Christmas lunch and what they would serve. Keep crayons available for a short coloring break while everyone waits for the meal.
3. Put together a cozy coloring basket
Print a few copies of the free sample pages and place them in a folder with a small set of crayons or pencils. Add a protective sheet to go underneath each drawing. Keep the basket near the table for a quiet moment during a busy holiday visit.
A little invitation: let each person choose one color for the same picture, then take turns adding it. There is no need for everyone to finish a page or follow the same color scheme.
Print before the busy day
Our free PDFs use US Letter paper, 8.5 × 11 inches. Select A4 and “fit to page” if that is what your printer uses. Print one test sheet first. For more help, see our home printing guide and coloring supplies guide.
